Winter turf covers are necessary as Mother Nature is not forgiving during the winter months. Snow and ice damage are always a major concern for golf course owners. Most of our winter turf covers get put down around the Thanksgiving Holiday, after the cold weather usually settles in. Usually afterwards there is a warm up followed by rain and sub zero temperatures. Many golf courses usually report a large sum of ice and snow on the greens and fairways.
